Provider Nodes
Provider Nodes form the computational backbone of the StarMiner network. These nodes contribute raw GPU power to support the execution of decentralized AI, rendering, and high-performance computing workloads. Operated by independent infrastructure providers, data centers, or repurposed mining rigs, Provider Nodes transform idle hardware into revenue-generating digital infrastructure.
Unlike centralized cloud systems, StarMiner empowers anyone with qualifying hardware to monetize their compute resources in a fully transparent, tokenized marketplace.
Hardware Requirements and Compatibility
To maintain performance integrity across the network, Provider Nodes must meet minimum technical standards:
Supported GPU Models
Enterprise-grade: NVIDIA A100, H100, A6000
High-end consumer: RTX 3090, 4090, 3080 Ti
Tensor-core models preferred for AI workloads
Minimum System Requirements
GPU VRAM: Minimum 12 GB
Stable internet connection: 50 Mbps or higher
Minimum 95% node uptime
Containerized environment (Docker or compatible runtime)
Optional: Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) support for premium jobs
Node Onboarding Process
Register node identity and wallet via CLI or web portal
Submit system performance benchmark (auto-verified by protocol)
Install and run the StarMiner node client
Begin accepting job assignments based on network demand and node classification
Advanced providers may stake AGPU or RWA tokens to increase their reward tiers and unlock access to premium workloads.
Reward Structure
Compute providers are rewarded in AGPU tokens, issued based on:
Volume and type of completed tasks
Uptime and latency consistency
GPU classification and performance rating
Environmental impact score (optional but incentivized)
Reward Multipliers Apply For
Delivering compute in high-demand regions
Supporting advanced workloads (e.g. inference, multi-GPU training)
Operating nodes with green energy or carbon capture compliance
AGPU is distributed programmatically through smart contracts, with no centralized intermediaries.
Regional Incentive Multipliers
To ensure global infrastructure diversity, StarMiner offers additional AGPU incentives to nodes operating in:
Southeast Asia
Latin America
Eastern Europe
Africa
Underserved rural regions
These multipliers help bridge global compute imbalances and promote broader ecosystem inclusion.
Common Provider Profiles
Independent Operators: Running high-performance GPUs from home or small office setups.
Former Mining Operations: Repurposing idle rigs for real AI computation and passive income.
Academic Labs or Institutions: Monetizing underutilized clusters through institutional-grade SLA support.
Professional Hosting Facilities: Offering tiered capacity with load-balancing, backups, and redundancy.
StarMiner does not discriminate by size. All nodes compete equally based on performance, transparency, and reliability.
Performance and Risk Management
Each node’s ongoing behavior is tracked via on-chain telemetry and analytics, feeding into a live Reputation Score system. Reputation affects job assignment, reward scaling, and protocol privileges.
Metrics Monitored
Task completion rate
Failure incidents
Delivery timeliness
Power efficiency
Node availability
Nodes that maintain high scores are prioritized for high-value jobs and network voting privileges. Poorly performing or malicious nodes may be rate-limited, penalized, or delisted.
Summary
Provider Nodes in StarMiner are not passive miner they are active participants in a decentralized computing economy. By contributing GPU capacity to the protocol, they help power real-world AI and digital infrastructure, while earning programmable income in return.
Whether you operate a solo rig or a national-scale data hall, StarMiner gives you the tools, transparency, and economic model to turn compute into revenue without centralized gatekeeping.
